Red Nose Day is here, with projects in the UK and Africa, we have been looking at what difference the money that we raise makes.
“Every year one in four people in the UK experiences a mental health problem. Yet, because of the stigma surrounding it, many people don’t seek help.” The Comic Relief charity has been working to raise awareness of mental health, the money that we raise today will support this work.
Comic Relief also works to support healthcare in Africa, with their immunisation programmes helping more than 860,000 children. Just a £20 donation could vaccinate five children against five deadly diseases.
These are just a couple of the issues that Red Nose Day aims to support by tackling poverty, not just in Africa but in the UK too.
Default Blue are supporting the health of people in Africa and the UK this Red Nose Day.
