The Giro d’Italia (the world’s second biggest bike race after the Tour de France) starts in Sardinia today and celebrates its 100th anniversary with a brand new logo which is proving very popular in the Default Blue design studio. The new logo design incorporates the swirling motif of the Trofeo Senza Fine (the trophy received by the ultimate race winner) with the silhouette of a bike rider and the number 100 to mark the milestone.
According to the NHS regular cycling can help you lose weight, reduce stress, and boost your health. It’s a low-impact type of exercise, so it’s easier on your joints than running or other high-impact aerobic activities but it still helps you get into shape. On top of that it can save you money and helps the environment so why not give it a go?
Here at Default Blue we’ve got a mix of runners, walkers, cyclists and swimmers. Most of the team are doing something positive to look after their health and we hope, in turn, this makes for a healthier marketing and design agency.
